The sooty-headed bulbul is resident across South East Asia and into southern China.
Habitat
The sooty-headed bulbul prefers subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests but can also be found in secondary growth often near human habitation.
Feeding
Bulbuls eat a wide range of foods, ranging from fruit to seeds, nectar, small insects and other arthropods and even small vertebrates.
Breeding
Bulbuls are generally monogamous, The female incubates two to five speckled eggs laid in a cup-shaped nest built usually in an open tree.
