Lineated Barbet

The lineated barbet is found in Bhutan, Bangladesh and India from the foothills of the Himalayas to South East Asia.
Habitat
Lineated barbets are forest and woodland canopy dwellers.
Feeding
Lineated barbets eat fruit, insects, worms and small reptiles.
Breeding
Both parents excavate a hole in a tree trunk or branch and incubate two to four eggs. Both parents also raise the chicks. Parents defend their nest aggressively.
