Black-crested Bulbul

The black-crested bulbul is a common resident across India, Nepal, Bhutan and Sril Lankan and eastwards to Thailnd Maylaysia and Indonesia as far as southern China.
Habitat
The black-crested bulbul inhabits dense scrub and broadleaf lowland and mountain forests up to 1200 metres.
Feeding
The black-crested bulbul feeds on fruit and insects. It will gather around fruit trees in feeding groups with other bulbuls.
Breeding
Male and female black-crested bulbuls share constructon of a nest of twigs, rootlets, grasses and cobweb woven togther with a central cup and located in a bush. Parents also share incubation of the two to four eggs and the raising of the chicks.
